Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death (Proverbs 11:4)
For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:17)
The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath (Job 20:28)
For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told (Psalm 90:9)
Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath….: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land …., until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD (Deuteronomy 9:6-8)
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers (Zephaniah 1:15-17)
And where are the dwelling places of the wicked? Have ye not asked them that go by the way? And do ye not know their tokens, that the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? They shall be brought forth to the day of wrath (Job 21:27-30)
bia State is also known as "God's Own State"; but, since 1999, when Orji Uzo Kalu managed to find himself as the governor, till now, the state has lost that name. The love, peace, blessing and fear of God have taken flight from the state, because of the occultly and diabolical tendencies of the Kalus and others. The Kalus raped and desecrated the state. Until few months ago, before anybody gets an appointment in the state, the Kalus forced him or her to the shrine for oath taking and they (the Kalus) appropriated, for themselves, the state's properties and resources, leaving it bare. Kalu bought and built houses all over Nigeria and in many parts of the world with the monies stolen from the state. His NEYA RESTORT in his home town of Igbere was built with stolen money; his houses in Abuja and Lagos was built/bought with stolen money; his houses in Texas, Massachusetts, Maryland etc were bought with stolen monies belonging to Abia State. The God of Abia State must have decided to be vengeful at last, for all the bad things Kalu and his family did against the "God's Own State". Kalu's world has started crumbling. The latest is the death of Chinwe Masi, Kalu's mistress, in his home in Potomac, Maryland on August 19, 2010. This article has nothing against the deceased and this column commiserates with the bereaved family.
THEWILL of August 23, 2010 wrote that "When a female guest suddenly dies inside the residence of a Nigerian politician it easily raises a red flag. The mysterious and sudden death of a 47 year-old elegant woman, Ms. Chinwe Masi inside the high brow Potomac mansion of former Abia State Governor, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu has left family and friends of the deceased uneasy and wanting answers. The deceased and Orji Kalu, 50, were romantically involved but we could not ascertain the length of the relationship as at press time. The deceased, a resident of the city of Hyattsville, Maryland who was once married to Mr. Okechukwu Ogbonna had just returned from Nigeria after a short visit. Her friends and relatives said she was full of life during her stay in Nigeria".
Kalu and the deceased's relations have put up different and contradicting accounts of what actually happened. THISDAY wrote: "He (Kalu) told them (the police) that he met her at Montgomery County Mall in June when he went to shop and forgot two bottles of perfume at the store. He told the police that when he returned to US upper weekend, Chinwe, who was a senior staff of the high flying fashion store, called him last Tuesday that he would be bringing the perfume and that was why she came to his residence." This column is wondering how somebody can forget two bottles of perfume he bought at a store. It then means that Kalu must have bought all the perfumes the store had, for him to forget two bottles of them. What we know is that one pays for any thing bought (at a store) at the counter before leaving, so how was it possible that Kalu paid for the perfumes and still forgot them? It doesn't make any sense.
THISDAY also wrote that one of Masi's relations told it: "The perfume story is not true. When Chinwe met the former governor at the shopping mall, they exchanged numbers. Chinwe was planning to come to Nigeria, so OJ (Chinwe's pet name for Orji Kalu) said they could meet up. But they never met up in Nigeria. So when Chinwe got back to the US, OJ called her and fixed an appointment for last Thursday. OJ had already given her some money.
OJ said Chinwe should come in the evening because he was fasting. She asked him why he was fasting, if he was a Muslim and OJ said he was a Catholic but he liked to fast along with Muslims during Ramadan. So they fixed an appointment for Thursday evening. Chinwe even missed the way to OJ's house, because that was her first time there. She told me everything that was transpiring between them. Chinwe and I were very close. She never hid anything from me. In fact, she told me the clothes she was going to wear for the date."
This column is not insinuating anything here, (as that's not its prerogative), but, it's elating that United States is not Nigeria: There will be no cover-up, there will be thorough investigations here and if there's any foul play, Kalu's billion will not save him. The United States law enforcement agencies are light year ahead of their Nigerian counterparts; they can't be influenced in anyway, even if there was a mysterious death at the White House, the police and the relevant authorities will do their job without any influence (fear or favour). The only advice this column has for the United States authorities is that they should seize Kalu's travelling document pending the outcome of the autopsy and the report of the investigations, just to avoid Kalu absconding, assuming there was any foul play here. He's an artful dodger!
Kalu's wife and children are living in United, while he lives in Nigeria, but, instead of him staying with his immediate family, he decided to while away the little time he was ready to spend in the country (US) with another woman. Kalu is married to Ifeoma Ada Kalu, though it has been alleged that their marriage has been rocked by series of crises and scandals. Why not? When Kalu's mother decided to usurp the role of the Abia State first lady, when Kalu was the governor! For that reason, they shipped his wife to United States and got her labelled "a psychiatric case". It has been alleged that the woman was charmed in such a way that anytime she steps into Nigeria, she starts going "mental" (mad), because, her mother-in-in-law wanted no challenge to her authority as the "mother excellency/first lady" of Abia State.
This column can't still understand how anybody could allow anybody to call him "OJ" in the United States of today, after the OJ Simpson cases. OJ Simpson was accused of killing Nicole Brown Simpson, his former wife and her boy friend, Ron Goldman, on June 12, 1994, now he's at the Nevada prison where he's serving a 33-year prison sentence for robbery-kidnapping after his conviction for breaking into a store in Las Vegas to steal his confiscated memorabilia.
These are not the best of times for Orji Uzo Kalu: He has lost his PPA because of T.A Orji's defection; he defected to PDP, but the state chapter and the local ward of the party don't want his membership; his stealing source (of Abia State's resources) is gone; Abia State House in Abuja, that he appropriated, has been retrieved by the governor after his defection; EFCC is closing in on him; and now his mistress has died in his hands.
We read how Kalu declared his intention to contest the 2011 presidential election. But, he was talking to foreign audience, so if he really wants to make his intention known, he should do that in Nigeria, to Nigerian audience. Also his usual deceit of claiming to have the endorsement of prominent American politicians will not fly this time around. In 2007, Kalu falsely claimed that George Bush endorsed him, now he's claiming that the Black Caucuses on Capitol Hill have endorsed him. One wonders who Kalu was talking about here, because, a congressman, having corruption charges hanging on his neck, has no influence or clout in United States and can't influence the outcome of any election in Nigeria.
Also, if this column is not wrong, Kalu is not qualified to contest any election under the banner of PDP, because, the party's constitution says that a person must be a member for two years before being eligible to contest. That's why Atiku, who re-joined the party many months before Kalu, is begging the PDP for a special waiver to allow him to contest. This column thinks that what Kalu is doing is political gimmickry, because, he knows that even if he's allowed to contest, he might not receive up to three votes during the presidential primary, all he wants is to make some noise thinking that with that, one of the serious presidential candidates might name him his vice presidential candidate. But, Kalu has no chance; he's such a big political liability all the serious contenders will be avoiding like plague. IBB was contemplating choosing him (Kalu) as his running mate, but, having read the writing on the wall and with the likehood of Goodluck Jonathan contesting, IBB has jettisoned the whole idea of a joint ticket with Kalu. Rather, due to political exigencies, he (IBB) thinks that a person of south-south extraction will boost his chance of clinching the nomination (a dream).
This column wants to tell Kalu that he's not serious, if he's dreaming of ruling Nigeria. This column wants to see an Igbo man ruling Nigeria, so as to bring the Igbo genocide, called civil war, to a closure after 40 good years, but, Kalu will be the last person this column would want to see as the president of Nigeria. He has been found wanting in a little thing, how can he be useful in a bigger thing? Kalu couldn't rule a state, how can he handle a big country like Nigeria? Let him stop deluding himself.
The death of Ms. Chinwe Masi is a lesson to all that any house built or bought with stolen money will, sooner or later, be a house of horror and sorrow. Abia people have wailed and lamented for a long time because of the havoc the Kalus and their cronies have been wreaking in the state; God is taking back His state and is cleansing it. Kalu had the chance to right all the wrongs he unleashed against the people of the state, but, he blew it, and unless he repents today; atones for all the sins and atrocities he and his family committed against the state; returns everything he stole from the state; and then submits himself to EFCC for trial, his pains might just be starting.
For those women, who are in the habit of having a rendezvous with corrupt Nigerian politicians in houses built or bought with monies stolen from the people, they should always be prepared for the worst. Because nobody knows when the wrath of God will be visited on such property or persons, then, it might be a case of being in a wrong place at a wrong time. He or she who enjoys a stolen thing with a thief is also a thief.

The conflicting accounts of the death of his mistress under his watch in his US mansion are a little bit difficult to brush aside. His (stolen) billions may not do on this one. Does he truly want to rule Nigeria? Well, I wish him luck. Peace".
Steve Nwaogwugwu wrote: ""no foul play" is a common statement for a tragic death such as this, and also pending the toxicology results and police investigative reports!
At least there is trust in police investigative reports in this Country and whatever is the cause of death of this young lady "Chinwe" shall be known in few days or weeks.
Again folks, "OJ" is not a good nickname for someone to be called in United States of America and police will like to take in another "OJ" off the US streets!!!
Let us keep our mouths and fingers crossed for the time and wait for the reports and results".

Political PDP does not want him.
He might go to jail in November [EFCC]..the reason he wants PDP cover
He lost Abia state Money cookie jar.
....Now his women are dying on him tooooo.
What was this married woman doing at Orji Kalu's residence with other boys and girls?
Was Gov Kalu there ..or/ is that place a play ground for High Flying go getter women in DC area?
Her girl friend should open up. I hope she did not go on a surprise visit to that house to find her BACK STABBING friend in some actions.
These women leaving their husbands to run around with BIGMEN to humiliate their men must not be celebrated. Orji Kalu is married with three wives and these people are still on the Side? Looking for something their husbands do not have... !!!. Does this woman not have a JOB to be flying in from Nigeria and be at Orji Kalu's residence at night?
These politicians are spending our monies anyhow every where with impunity..."
